Bus service changes, Stafford Borough - September 2024

SCC have advised of the following changes to bus services:

from 1 September

  • Service 7 (Select Bus, Stafford – Moss Pit) will have a revised timetable
  • Service 8 (Select Bus, Stafford – Parkside) due to the roadworks at Redhill will have a revised route and timetable
  • Service 9 (Select Bus, Stafford – Highfields) will have a revised timetable
  • Service 11/11S (Select Bus, Stafford – Coton Park) will have a revised timetable
  • Service 12/12S (Select Bus, Stafford – Doxey) will have a revised timetable
  • Service 74C (Chaserider, Chase Terrace – Stafford) is cancelled
  • Service 242/242S (Select Bus, Kinver – Stourbridge) is cancelled
  • Service 813 (Select Bus, Penkridge – Coven) is cancelled
  • Service 817 (Select Bus, Hill Ridware – Armitage – Rugeley – Hednesford – Cannock – Rodbaston College) will now be a closed college student service, so no longer available to members of the public.
  • Service 841 (Chaserider, Stafford – Uttoxeter) will have a revised timetable
  • Service 875 (Select Bus, Stafford – Cannock) will have a revised route and timetable
  • Service 875A (Select Bus, Stafford – Rickerscote) is cancelled.
  • Service 876 (Select Bus, Stafford – Wolverhampton) is a new service replacing services 813 and 875A, and including many of the journeys no longer operated by service 878
  • Service 877 (Select Bus, Stafford – Wheaton Aston) will have a revised route and timetable
  • Service 878 (Select Bus, Stafford – Brewood) will have a revised route and timetable with most journeys replace by new service 876
  • Service 879 (Stafford – Rodbaston College) will have a revised route and timetable

from 8 September

  • Service 828 (Chaserider, Stafford – Lichfield) will have Sunday journeys added
