Extraordinary Parish Meeting - 23.6.2022

The Chairman of the Parish Council has called an extraordinary meeting in order to consider and discuss SCC’s Levelling Up Fund Bid.  This is of particular interest to the village, as we understand that there is scope within the bid to improve the A34 between Cannock and Stafford and so the Parish Council wish to ask Brocton residents to come along and give us your views on Brocton crossroads.  We already know that it can be very difficult to exit the village from Sawpit Lane onto the A34 and therefore, we thought that this was an opportunity to present a case to SCC for any improvements to include the crossroads.

We need your support and input, so if you are free on this evening, do please come along.

If you are not free, but do still wish to make comments, please email these to the Parish Clerk by no later than 5.00pm on 22 June, in order for these to be considered, clerk@brocton.staffslc.gov.uk

As with all things, there is no guarantee that SCC’s bid will be successful, but they have to try and therefore, so do we.
