Graffiti in play park/Book Swop
The Parish Council has been made aware of some graffiti that has appeared on one of the bench’s, in the Sawpit Lane play park. This bench was very kindly donated to the Parish Council, in memory of a long serving Parish Cllr, who passed away a few years ago.
This is very disappointing and upsetting for the family.
Please can residents, who use the park, be aware of any suspicious activity and let your Parish Cllrs know. Removal of graffiti can be expensive and can suggest neglect, even encourage further vandalism, which we do not want.
Your Parish Council is very proud of the park on Sawpit Lane, it is a lovely space for children and families to enjoy and we want to keep it that way so that all users feel safe in the park.
Please can we ask for your support in encouraging all users of the park to treat the equipment in the park with respect – thank you.
Sadly, this is not the first time that the Cllrs have had to remove graffiti from a piece of play equipment in the park. The Book Swop has also been targeted, which is such a shame, as this brings so much pleasure to all who use it.
Lets all work together to help keep the village of Brocton free from this mindless vandalism, for the benefit of us all.
Thank you for your support.
