Invitation to take part in a public consultation regarding Chase Road, Cannock Chase.

Cannock Chase Special Area of Conservation Partnership have launched their public consultation today on the options for the sustainable management of motor vehicles along the surfaced bridleway and private road known as Chase Road on Cannock Chase.

We would like to gather the views of as broader range of users as possible and would be grateful if you could share the following information with your network.

The consultation runs from the 8th June – 17th July 2026.

There are various ways to learn about the proposals and share views:

• Visit the online consultation hub to view the proposals and complete the questionnaire
• Register for an online presentation and Q&A session
• Attend a drop in session or join a guided walk between the 29th June & 5th July

There will be a number of drop in sessions taking place in Brocton Village Hall, as follows:

• 29 June from 2.00pm – 4.00pm
• 1 July from 4.00pm – 6.00pm
• 4 July from 10.00am – 12 noon
